The Fundamentals Of A Fresh Start

Ever had the desire to just pack up your belongings and leave, to move to a place where nobody knows you, to become the person you want to be. What’s stopped you? What’s been the thing holding you back?
I can almost guarantee that most of you can’t think of an answer that seems reasonable. Someone once told me something, that has to be up there with some of the best advice i’ve ever been given; you are under no obligation to be the same person you were yesterday. Being told this has changed my life, quite literally.

If you find the courage to change your life; don’t do good, do better.

You spend your whole life stuck in the labyrinth, thinking about how you’ll escape it one day, and how awesome it will be, and imagining that future that keeps you going, but you never do it. You just use the future to escape the present. That future that you’ve been dreaming of, make it the present.

We spend far too long trying to fix things that are broken which although persistence is great and often needed we also need to allow ourselves to let go. Maybe it’s only once we let go, that we can create something better. Why not just say goodbye to the bad things. Say goodbye to all the times you felt lost. To all the times it was a no, instead of a yes. To all the scrapes and bruises. To all the heartache. Say goodbye to everything you really want to do for the last time.

Every single second is a new opportunity to reinvent yourself if you’re not content. Become whom you want to be. You, are not final. The way you are today is not the final you. Design a life you love, a life you are proud of. Not only a life but a you, that you not only love but are proud of. With that being said, don’t wait for everything to be perfect before you can allow yourself the ability to enjoy your life. In 6 months time, you can either be in the same place or a better place. Focus everyday on improving your health, wealth and happiness. It will take time but you can make it happen. Don’t allow your life to just be fine. Or okay. Or even good. Make it brilliant, spectacular, wild, extraordinary. Fill it with excitement and adventure, be passionate and fearless, search for freedom and opportunity. You only get one, make it count. Make it mean something, make it yours.

This post is a lot like my self love one; honest, truthful and a preach that i need to start putting into practice.

After one hell of year, i can tell you this; what feels like the end is often the beginning. So i urge you to say goodbye to your old life and hello to the new; this is the beginning of anything you want.

Make it a gooden.
